You agree that any dispute or lawsuit arising out of, or concerning, this Agreement shall be resolved exclusively in a federal or state court of competent jurisdiction located in Anoka County, Minnesota. You and Company assume responsibility for their own collection costs and legal fees incurred should enforcement of these conditions become necessary.

Arbitration
Any and all disputes or disagreements arising between Company and You out of this Terms and Conditions of Use upon which an amicable understanding cannot be reached shall be decided by arbitration in accordance with the procedural rules of the American Arbitration Association. Company and You agree to be bound by the decision of the arbitrator(s). The arbitration proceeding shall take place in Anoka County, Minnesota. The cost and expenses of the arbitrators shall be shared equally by the Parties. Each party shall be responsible for its own costs and expenses in presenting the dispute for arbitration.

In some cases it is possible you have already given our company access to your data in the past such as from prior website form submissions or newsletter sign-ups, social media outreach/messages or forms, contact given during a wedding fair or expo, or as provided to HappiLily Events from your venue, other vendors you have hired, or through our partnerships with Minnesota Bride, Wedding Chicks, and Style Me Pretty.

Through the use of HappiLilyEvents.com and all pages on our site, You are consenting to the terms and conditions and data collection procedures expressed in this Policy. Please note that this Policy does not govern the collection and use of information by companies that HappiLily Events LLC does not control/own, nor by individuals not employed or managed by Us.     • We collect your email address in order to respond to inquiries and/or other requests or questions, provide business and event updates, blog newsletters, and to conduct follow-up communications after our services have been completed. Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about business updates, new products or services, blog posts, or promotional offerings. 

    • In order to perform services and provide you with a detailed and accurate quote, it is necessary for you to provide HappiLily Events LLC with your full name, partner’s name, contact information, wedding date and location, guest count, and similar details. It is at your discretion to provide such information and you acknowledge that without these details, our company cannot provide professional services to you.

  • Information automatically collected when visiting our website - which may include cookies, web beacons, third party tracking technologies and server logs. In addition, HappiLily Events LLC may have the occasion to collect non-personal anonymous demographic information, such as age, gender, household income, political affiliation, race and religion, as well as the type of browser you are using, IP address, or type of operating system, which will assist us in providing and maintaining superior quality service. Collecting such data helps us customize your experience, improve the performance of our company’s online presence and assess the effectiveness of our services’ marketing tools and strategies. Cookies on their own do not either identify you or share your email address in any way. Through our report analysis we receive identification data that include the IP address for the only purpose of the count of our website visits and their geographic location, never for personal identification.

Sharing of PII
We will not sell or knowingly share your information with any third parties that are not connected with us/used to fulfill our business purposes or as otherwise necessary to complete services upon hire (such as communicating your information and wedding details to find and book your venue and vendors), or unless required or permitted by law.

Email Newsletter
If you choose to receive our electronic newsletter, the email address that you submit to us will be forwarded to MailChimp which provides us with marketing services for our email. We consider MailChimp as a data processing third party. The email address you submit will not be saved on the website’s database or any of our other computer systems. Your email address will remain on MailChimp’s database for either as long as we continue to use their marketing services or until you request its removal from the list via email to us or using the unsubscribe link which you can find on all our newsletters. If you are under 18 years of age your parents’ consent in mandatory in order to register for our newsletter. For as long as your email address remains on MailChimp’s database, you will be receiving our newsletter and business updates up to four (4) times per month.

To be by CANSPAM, we agree to the following:

  • Not use false or misleading subjects or email addresses.

  • Identify the message as an advertisement in some reasonable way.

  • Include the physical address of our business or site headquarters.

  • Monitor third-party email marketing services for compliance, if one is used.

  • Honor opt-out/unsubscribe requests quickly.

  • Allow users to unsubscribe by using the link at the bottom of each email.

Google Analytics
Like many websites, ours uses Google Analytics to monitor visitors’ activity. We use this data to define the number of visits on our website, to get more information on the way users come across our page and their overall activity on the website. Even though Google Analytics is recording data such as your geographic location, your device and its operating system, none of this information exposes your personal identity to us. Our company’s website might include functionality that allows you to share blog posts/pages via social media applications such as through the Like/Share option on Facebook and Pinterest’s Pin It widget (any and all social media sites are third parties). This type of data sharing is regulated by the Privacy Policy of the company that carries the application. We are not responsible and have no control on the use of information from these companies.

Even though we take efforts to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the safety of data transmitted through our website or via phone or email, nor do we take responsibility for how your data is used by third parties.
